Old Masters
AUSTRALIA’S GREAT BARK ARTISTS

The youth artworks, made during art workshops in June, included collage, crochet, fabric pieces, a cartoon story about Kalaw, and gourd carvings. After showing at Lokanat Galleries in Yangon, the exhibition was brought to Kalaw for two days for the community to enjoy and celebrate together.
In collaboration with the Australian Embassy Myanmar, CFK_Art Fund joined the exhibition ‘Old Masters: Australia’s Great Bark Artists’, which showcased the beauty of Australian Indigenous art alongside creations by young artistic practitioners from Kalaw.

He has participated in numerous group exhibitions. His works go beyond landscape; they hold emotion, memory, and the quiet observations of someone who finds meaning in light, sky, and the world around him.
His clouds are never just clouds. They carry stories, memory, even distance. Through this exhibition, we hope people spend time not only with his paintings, but with the way he sees, and maybe leave with a slightly slower gaze of their own.
