What is CFK_Art Fund?
The CFK_Art Fund, launched in October 2022 under the parent company Coming From Kalaw (CFK), is a dynamic nonprofit initiative based in Kalaw, Southern Shan State, Myanmar. Dedicated to making art education accessible to all children, regardless of socio-economic background, our guiding belief is simple yet powerful: “Art Education Should Be Accessible.”

What is CFK_Art Platform?
The CFK_Art Platform, guided by the belief that “Connecting Creativity with Opportunity,” serves as the commercial arm of Coming From Kalaw (CFK). Its mission is to promote the artistic talent of Southern Shan State by offering professional art services to individuals, businesses, and organizations. Through curated exhibitions, art consultancy, and the sale of unique artworks, the platform connects local artists with global audiences operating both from our Art Space in Kalaw and our online platform.

A Solo exhibition by Myo thuzar
EXISTENCE
EXISTENCE is the first major solo exhibition of Myo Thuzar, a self-taught abstract artist from Aungban, Southern Shan State. Painting without sketches or formal training, her works emerge instinctively guided by unseen energies, emotion, and spiritual rhythm.
ComingFromKalaw_Art Space Opening Exhibition
CFK_Art Space launched with “ME,” a group exhibition featuring 24 local and migrant artists from Southern Shan State. The show brought together a wide range of artistic styles, mediums, and themes, each piece offering a unique personal perspective, cultural narrative, and creative expression. This exhibition reflects CFK’s mission to amplify regional voices and connect Southern Shan State to the broader art world.

Age Off Solo Art Exhibition
A solo exhibition by Nyaung Shwe artist Gu Gu explores the connection between mental health and artistic expression through over 44 recreated paintings. The four-room exhibition—Reflect, Process, Reconstruct, and Momentum—invites viewers to contemplate resilience, growth, and the transformative power of creativity.
