About the Exhibition

Old Masters: Australia's Great Bark Artists

In collaboration with the Australian Embassy Myanmar, CFK_Art Fund joined the exhibition 'Old Masters: Australia's Great Bark Artists', which showcased the beauty of Australian Indigenous art alongside creations by young artistic practitioners from Kalaw. The youth artworks, made during art workshops in June, included collage, crochet, fabric pieces, a cartoon story about Kalaw, and gourd carvings. After showing at Lokanat Galleries in Yangon, the exhibition was brought to Kalaw for two days for the community to enjoy and celebrate together.
